We have just received word that Troy has come up with a great rate and place to stay for the upcoming West Region Tournament , March 29th at Belton. It is at the America's Best Value Inn, 4001 S. General Bruce Drive [I35 access road]. It is located at the Intersection of I35 & Hwy 36 just south of the Luby's. We have a 25 room block for the Region Tournament. All rooms are doubles and are $50.00 which include tax. You need to call 254-773-7221 and ask for Sonny Desai, let him know you are with the West Region Federation. Troy said that there is a large parking area and that you can back up to your room and stay hooked up. Each room has an electric plug outside for charging batteries. It is a single story motel with one in and one way out. He said it is laid out perfect for fisherman and easy to head for the lake. Sonny said if you also need a room for the State Tournament, call him. He will give us a rate of $250.00 for 7 days [$125.00 per angler]. Troy did not go into a room but said it looked good to him. He went to find us a place and to do a little practicing. We will see you there! |
